Without knowledge of any particularly special dishes here, I arbitrarily ordered a bowl of Lor Mee (卤面, RM4.00). This is a large serving with extra noodles: yellow noodles (黄面) and rice vermicelli (米粉). Like other stalls in Penang, the broth is very thick in consistency and is made from corn starch.
As not everyone is tolerance to spiciness, the chili sauce and garlic are served in the spoon. As usual, I just mix both into the broth.
The Lor Mee comes with several slices of pork and duck meat. Unfortunately, both meat are in lack flavor and are quite tasteless.
One-half boiled egg is included, but I feel that it has been overcooked, causing it to be harder and drier than desired.
The Lor Mee dish here is mediocre at best. At least, the broth is quite thick and very filling.
