Big Red Strawberry Farm

This article is part of my 2019 Cameron Highlands trip series.

Big Red Strawberry Farm, also known as Taman Agro Tourism, is a large strawberry farm in Brinchang. The attraction is located on a hill past Cactus Valley.
The strawberries here are grown in plasticulture, in individual pots or hydroponically. The plants are watered by irrigation tubes.
Visitors have the opportunity to pick their own strawberries. The price is RM25.00 for 500 grams. This also includes admission for 2 adults and 1 child. But if you just want to buy fresh strawberries, it is much cheaper to buy packed ones from the store.
Big Red Strawberry Farm has a plant nursery too. The nursery contains a myriad of plants that thrive in temperate climate. Many of them have colorful flowers.
As a family-friendly attraction, Big Red Strawberry Farm has a small zoo with geese, ducks, chicken, guineafowl and rabbits.
Meanwhile, Big Red Strawberry Cafeteria serves strawberry-based snacks and drinks. We had a glass of strawberry juice for RM6.90. The drink is very refreshing as it is blended from fresh strawberries from the farm.
There are ample parking spaces in Big Red Strawberry Farm. Admission to this attraction is free unless you want to pick your own strawberries.
